The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands is the country’s oldest chamber institution, founded in 1886 and housed in a landmark historical building designed by the renowned Juan Arellano. It was inaugurated by the first Commonwealth President Manuel L. Quezon and bestowed with three markers in Spanish, English, and Filipino by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
CCPI aims to strengthen the Philippine economy by promoting business growth, fostering good governance, and encouraging corporate citizenship, aims to act as a liaison between the business community and the government, facilitating communication and collaboration on matters of mutual concern. The CCPI is the oldest business institution in the Philippines and aims to guide the country’s economic future.

CCPI works to create an environment conducive to business development and expansion.Its contents are obtained from the Chamber’s having experienced and analysed tribulations and prosperities worldwide as well as the positive effects of its advocacies covering a History of 8 Epochs since 1886.
