The Provenance and oldest business institution in the country since 1886, emphasizes the need for the best of citizens to be in Government, whether appointed or elected. The move of President BBM to revamp the Cabinet based on performance evaluation is in accordance with the Chamber’s Economic Compass Pillars 5, particularly on:

- Mission A: Best of Citizens Are In Government – The best qualified for government positions are methodically nurtured and flushed out based on a standard excellence template of qualifications that are verified for fair comparison among elected & appointed candidates, and regular performance accountability is conducted.
