CCPI releases Legacy Book chronicling 139 Years of History

Manila, Philippines – The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands (CCPI), the country’s Provenance and oldest business chamber, is set to unveil The Chamber’s Legacy Book, titled “From CHAMBER HISTORY to NAVIGATING THE FUTURE, From 8 Epochs to Economic Compass Pillars 5 (ECOMP-P5), a landmark publication chronicling 139 years of history, resilience, and economic contributions from 1886 to 2024.
The official launch will take place on April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), from 12:00 NN to 1:00 PM at the historic Chamber Building in Intramuros, Manila.
This momentous event will be graced by distinguished guests, including government officials, business leaders, and key stakeholders, as the Chamber celebrates more than a century of shaping the country’s economic landscape.
The Legacy Book provides a comprehensive look into the Chamber’s pioneering role in Philippine commerce, its pivotal milestones, and its continuing guide to help navigate the future.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine Islands is the Provenance and the Oldest business institution in the Philippines, given Historical Markers by the NHCP in three languages, in recognition of its status since its founding through a Spanish Royal Decree on 9 April 1886.

In 2024, the Chamber printed the final version of its main Advocacy ECOMP-P5: Economic Compass Pillars 5, under the theme Navigating the Future, which aligns with the Chamber’s guiding principle: History Builds the Future.
